Plane shortage bottleneck for aviation sector's growth: Minister

Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu said that India's aviation sector is facing a bottleneck in the procurement of new aircraft. He added that while 1,700 new planes are on order, supply chain disruptions mean deliveries could take 15 years. The government plans to develop 50 airports in the next five years. India's 165th airport was recently inaugurated in Noida.
