Indian Railways revised its reservation chart policy last year to reduce anxiety of passengers on WL and RAC tickets. For trains departing between 5:01 am and 2pm, the chart will be prepared by 8pm on previous day. For trains departing from 2:01 pm to 11:59 pm and 12:00 am to 5am, the charts will be prepared 10 hours in advance.
