The 50-year-old Indian who killed at least 15 people at Sydney's Bondi Beach, had limited contact with his Hyderabad-based family since moving to Australia in 1998, police officials said. Sajid Akram didn't even attend his father's funeral in India in 2009, police added. His father was reportedly a retired armed forces officer and his elder brother is a doctor.
