Akashvani will begin broadcasting a new and complete six-stanza version of the National Song Vande Mataram from Thursday, replacing the traditional two-stanza format, the government announced. In line with the guidelines issued by the Home Affairs Ministry in January, all stations will now air the complete version of the song, which runs for approximately 3 minutes and 10 seconds.
