The 25-second Time Clock in badminton is a regulatory system being trialled by Badminton World Federation (BWF) that aims to curb tactical delays and standardise play. Under the rule, both server and receiver must be ready to play within 25 seconds of the umpire updating score. Players can towel off or talk to coaches within the time-frame without umpire's permission.
