FDA raids 14 eateries in Pune, suspends Poona Club's licence over food safety lapses

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) raided 14 establishments across Pune district and suspended the food licence of The New Poona Club Ltd after officials found food safety violations, poor hygiene, cockroaches and other insects. The action was part of a special inspection drive conducted by FDA between September 10 and 15. It also suspended food licences of eight establishments.
