Paramount said its $110-billion takeover bid for Warner Bros Discovery could be delayed for months, potentially into 2027. The delay, due to pending lawsuits by state attorneys general and the Writers Guild of America, could add about $1.7 billion in "ticking fees" to the deal value. If the deal collapses, Paramount would owe Warner Bros a $7 billion breakup fee.
