SEBI said details on cases where chief Madhabi Puri Buch recused herself due to potential conflicts of interest "isn't readily available" in response to an RTI. "Collating the same will lead to disproportionately diverting the resources," it added. It also denied providing copies of Buch's declarations to the government and SEBI on financial assets held by her and her family.
