After RCB bought Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood for ₹12.5 crore in IPL 2025 mega auction, RCB batting coach Dinesh Karthik said, "I think all of Bengaluru should be smiling." Karthik added, "We've seen what he can do in the year (2022) when he came, we qualified and he was such a major and integral part of that attack."
