People tricked into buying gold, leaving it in forests in investment scam in Norway

Banks in Norway have launched an anti-fraud campaign after scammers tricked people into buying gold and leaving it in forests as part of a growing investment fraud. The fraudsters promise that others will protect the gold as its value rises, but steal it once hidden. Norway's banking lobby said several bank customers have fallen victim to the scam.
