Teacher who built 3D theatre from waste to get National Teachers Award

Ravi Kumar Jaiswal, a teacher at a government school in Chandigarh has been selected for the National Teachers Award 2026. Jaiswal is being awarded for transforming a school hall into a 3D dome theatre using waste materials like tins and thermocol to make students' learning interactive. Jaiswal said his innovation has now been replicated at six different schools in Chandigarh.
