Rishabh Pant did not step down voluntarily as Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain and was instead removed by the franchise after IPL 2026, according to a report. The team management reportedly held Pant largely responsible for finishing last on IPL 2026 points table. The report added that Pant faced more scrutiny than others in the team.
