India win historic 4th women’s kabaddi gold at Asian Games, defeat Iran in final

India won their fourth women’s kabaddi gold medal in Asian Games history after defeating Iran 37-34 in the final. The defending champions successfully retained the title they won at Asian Games 2022. India have now won gold in four of the five Asian Games editions since women’s kabaddi debuted in 2010, with their only non-gold finish coming in 2018.
