After the Bombay High Court fined the FDA ₹5 lakh for its action against Pune's Guru Nanak Sweets, Tukaram Mundhe said the case is surprising. "It was a case of food poisoning...those who consumed the sweets were hospitalised... So, the action...was correct; there was nothing wrong there," he said. Further action to be taken after written order comes, he said.
