Heavy and light commercial vehicles will have to pay higher charges to enter Delhi as MCD has increased the Environment Compensation Charge (ECC). The fee for light commercial vehicles and two-axle trucks has been raised to ₹2,000 from the earlier ₹1,400. While fees for three-axle trucks and vehicles with four or more axles have increased from ₹2,600 to ₹4,000.
