TVS Group is set to acquire a 9.99% stake in Jana Small Finance Bank through a preferential allotment, CNBC-TV18 reported. The group is expected to invest between ₹450 crore-₹500 crore in the bank. The proposed deal has been structured just below the 10% regulatory limit for corporate ownership in banks to avoid additional compliance requirements.
