99% of Delhi PGs do not have fire NOC, no layout approval for nearly 30%

A Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) survey of 2,453 paying guest (PG) accommodations revealed that only 31 (1.2%) of such buildings have a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Delhi Fire Service. The building plans for 726 PG buildings, less than 30% of those surveyed, have been sanctioned. Notably, seven people were killed after a building collapsed in Satya Niketan area.
