Justice Manmohan of the Supreme Court stated that a High Court judge should be empowered to their full power and authority without being scared of a transfer. "You cannot emasculate a High Court judge by putting the fear of transferring him," he added. He called for a debate on the Supreme Court collegium system and criticised "mistrust in the system".
