The national capital logged its coldest Republic Day in five years on Monday, with the minimum temperature recorded at 3.6℃ in parts of the city. The temperature last fell this low in 2021 at 2.1°C. The sharp dip in temperature was caused by clear skies and sustained icy northwesterly winds over the weekend, HT reported, citing officials.
