Major US TV networks suspend coverage of Trump after ban on CNN

Major US television networks ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and CNN suspended pooled coverage of US President Donald Trump on Monday after the White House barred CNN, MS NOW and Politico from its premises. CNN was scheduled to provide coverage of Trump's New York trip. The networks said the public needs independent government reporting and opposed restrictions based on editorial coverage.
