Russia's state-owned oil refinery Rosneft's CEO, Igor Sechin, said that US companies were the biggest beneficiaries of the Strait of Hormuz closure. The US, currently the biggest oil producer in the world, "gained non-competitive advantages and ability to secure high-cost supplies", Sechin added.
