Hundreds gather for Mamdani look-alike contest; winner gets ₹9,500

Hundreds of people gathered near New York City’s Washington Square Park on Sunday for a Mayor Zohran Mamdani look-alike contest. Contestants were asked to name their favourite pizza, with the winner decided by the loudest applause. Part-time actor and Mamdani impersonator Amadeo Fusca won the contest and a $100 (about ₹9,500) prize.
