IMD has forecast a yellow alert for a heatwave in Delhi-NCR on April 24 and April 25, with maximum temperature expected to hover between 42-44°C. On April 26, IMD has forecast a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of thundery development towards afternoon or evening. The weather agency said Delhi’s maximum temperature rose by around 2°C in past 24 hours.
