At least 69 people have been killed in an attack by armed rebels in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), amid a long-running conflict between the two ethnic groups, the Hema and Lendu. At least 69 people were killed when the Cooperative for the Development of the Congo (CODECO) fighters launched an attack in late April.
