The Minuteman III missile, that US test-launched amid Middle East war, is a strategic weapons system that uses a ballistic missile with an intercontinental range. Also called "doomsday missile", it has a range of over 6,000 miles and speed of 24,000 kph at burnout. It can hold nuclear warheads 20 times more powerful than the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
