Chaos erupted at a cattle fair in Bihar's Muzaffarpur when crowd became unruly, leading to a stampede situation just before Bhojpuri singer Khesari Lal Yadav performance. According to reports as news of Khesari's arrival spread at the fair thousand of people rushed towards the stage. Organisers and security failed to control the surge, forcing police to resort to a lathi-charge.
