NGO trains survivors, widows to drive autos & earn independently
A Bengaluru NGO trains women who are widowed, single mothers or survivors of abuse to drive autos and gain financial independence and support their livelihoods. The NGO under the “Swavalambi Stree Auto” initiative helps women learn driving and understand traffic rules, legal rights, self-defence and build financial literacy through guidance. The initiative provides women-led training programmes.
