Vodafone Idea is set to receive a fresh promoter-led capital infusion, with Non-Executive Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla expected to lead the funding, Moneycontrol reported. Vodafone is also in talks with lenders for a large debt package to support network expansion and operations. Last week, Birla was appointed Non-Executive Chairman, replacing Ravinder Takkar, who has been named Vice Chairman.
