19-year-old woman critical after doctors leave gloves, wipes in abdomen during C-section

A 19-year-old woman, Sandhya Gaikwad, is critical after gloves and paper wipes were allegedly left inside her abdomen during a C-section at Maharashtra's Beed District Hospital on August 1. She developed severe abdominal pain and underwent emergency surgery at Pune's Sassoon Hospital, where the items were removed. The district surgeon has issued notices to the doctor and staff involved.
