Centre approves BHAVYA scheme to set up 100 industrial parks across India

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the BHAVYA (Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana) scheme with a total outlay of ₹33,660 crore to establish 100 industrial parks across India. These parks must have a minimum area of 100 acres, except in North-Eastern states and hilly areas, where it will be 25 acres. The Centre will provide ₹1 crore per acre for parks.
