Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine became the third-oldest to hit a Test hundred this century during the Boxing Day Test against Afghanistan. Ervine made 104 batting at No.6. This was his fourth Test ton. At the age of 39 years, 130 days, he became the third-oldest after Misbah-ul-Haq and Shivnarine Chanderpaul to score a Test hundred in the 21st century.
