2 suicide bomb blasts hit Pakistan military base, several people killed

At least nine people were killed and 25 others were wounded after two suicide bombings at a military base in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday, AP reported. A group affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. Clouds of grey smoke were seen rising into the air and gunshots were also heard, said an official.

China, hit by 20% tariffs, announced 10%-15% tariffs on various US imports from March 10. Canada announced 25% reciprocal (equivalent) taxes on $20.7-billion US imports. Mexico, also hit with 25% tariffs, said contingency plans were in place, but its response is awaited.
