How do tax rules affect those moving back to India with foreign job?

One who returns to India to stay permanently or spends more than 182 days in a year would qualify as a resident of India under the Income-tax Act, 2025. If one qualifies as an RNOR, they would be taxable on income received or accrued in India. Notably, foreign salary can remain in one's overseas bank account after returning to India.
