During the hearing, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta cited an email sent by Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal to the colleague he raped in a hotel elevator in 2013, NDTV reported. "I did at one point say to your contention that I was your boss...'That makes it simpler'," he told her after the incident. Bombay High Court convicted Tejpal on Thursday.
