The J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations has called the 50 MBBS students of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence for allotment to other colleges on January 24. This comes after the board asked the J&K government to adjust them "at its own level". While 22 students will be given Kashmir colleges, 28 will be adjusted in Jammu.
