The most expensive player in IPL 2025 auction was Rishabh Pant at ₹27 crore, while the costliest player in IPL 2014 auction was Yuvraj Singh at ₹14 crore. Average earnings of top five players of this year's auction are ₹22.7 crore, while in 2014, it was ₹9.6 crore.
