BJP largest party, but chairperson pick gets zero votes in Raj municipality

The BJP emerged as the single-largest party with 10 of the 25 councillors in the elections in Mundwa Municipality in Rajasthan. However, it failed to secure the chairperson post as the party's official candidate Geeta Devi received zero votes. Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) candidate Alka Devi Kandoi, backed by the Congress, won the election with 13 votes.
