Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was heard calling the RG Kar rape and murder case a "scam" during a rally in West Bengal. Subsequently, BJP's Radhika Khera posted on X, "Rape and murder is a scam for Rahul Gandhi...Has the insensitivity of the Congress Yuvaraj now become incurable?" At RG Kar Hospital, a doctor was raped and murdered in 2024.
