BJP released a rap explaining why PM Narendra Modi advised citizens not to buy gold for one year. Calling it "economic patriotism", BJP said India spends nearly $72 billion annually on gold imports. Reducing purchases temporarily, it argued, would help strengthen Rupee, ease economic pressure and support India during global uncertainty. "Small sacrifice today, stronger Bharat tomorrow," it added.
