Women in Bolotana, a village in Italy, have a higher chance of living to 100. A study found that 13.8% of women who reach 70 in Bolotana are likely to become centenarians. Researchers believe diet, physical activity, and genetics may contribute to their longevity. Published in Frontiers in Ageing, the study identifies Bolotana as a possible new Blue Zone.
