Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice Surya Kant said the Bench and the Bar must work together to ensure timely justice, calling their partnership vital to a strong judiciary. He reaffirmed the Supreme Court's commitment to affordable, and speedy justice, adding that appointments to the top court are made through a rigorous Collegium process based on merit, integrity and experience.
