India responds as Trump praises PM Modi's efforts against drugs

India has responded after US President Donald Trump praised PM Narendra Modi for his efforts to address illicit opium poppy cultivation. "India and US have strong ongoing collaboration on illegal trafficking of drugs. We believe that drugs affect people in the two countries and across the globe. We will continue to take action against drugs in the future," India added.
