Apple is in talks with major Indian banks, including ICICI and HDFC, as well as global card networks like Visa and Mastercard amid its plan to launch Apple Pay service by mid-2026 in India, Bloomberg reported. The service may support both UPI and card payments. Apple Pay has security features like Face ID, Touch ID and Optic ID.
