DMK leader and Leader of the Opposition in Tamil Nadu, Udhayanidhi Stalin, was released from the police station on Tuesday evening, hours after he was arrested for his alleged double-meaning remark on actress Trisha. He was released from Sengipatti Police Station in Thanjavur. Earlier, the Tamil Nadu government, headed by Vijay, told HC it didn't intend to keep him custody.
