Rohit Pawar warns of Mumbai-Nagpur E-way blockade over drought relief demand

NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar said farmers and agricultural labourers would block Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway between October 12 and 15 if the Maharashtra government failed to announce drought relief by October 12. Pawar claimed the state suffered crop losses worth ₹77,000 crore and said farmers were seeking direct financial aid and loan waivers. Maharashtra has declared drought in 265 talukas.
