The Uttar Pradesh Police have denied claims that they detained the family member of Mohammad Junaid, who provided free food and drinking water to CJP protesters at Jantar Mantar. "No such matter has come to my notice," Senior Superintendent of Police Avinash Pandey said. Junaid had alleged that the UP Police raided his house in Ghaziabad and detained his father.
