Street Fighter director calls film 90s-faithful, fun adaptation

Director Kitao Sakurai says the upcoming Street Fighter film captures the spirit of Street Fighter 2 with hundreds of in-game moves, 90s-era music, and an over-the-top tone. Starring Jason Momoa, Roman Reigns, and Vidyut Jammwal, the film avoids the gritty reboot trend. It releases in theatres on October 16.
