How can a loan taken by a spouse affect partner's credit score?
short by Bhuvnesh Ojha / on Tuesday, 10 March, 2026
Being married doesn't automatically link credit histories of both people. The responsibility becomes shared once the name is attached to loan and credit records of both will be affected in case of missed payment.
