UNESCO adds 3 Indian sites to World Heritage Tentative List

UNESCO's World Heritage Centre has added three new Indian sites to its Tentative List: the Karst-mud-volcano Complex of Baratang, Andaman Subduction Volcanoes (Andaman & Nicobar Islands), and Sirpur Cultural and Archaeological Landscape (Chhattisgarh). Inclusion is a prerequisite for formal World Heritage nomination. The Archaeological Survey of India was credited for documentation efforts.
