India gets its first dengue vaccine

India's Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has approved Takeda's QDENGA (TAK-003), making it the country's first approved dengue vaccine. The live-attenuated tetravalent vaccine is designed to protect against all four dengue virus serotypes. Takeda said QDENGA has already received approval in more than 40 countries.
